dc.description.abstractΒασική ιδέα της διπλωματικής είναι να παρουσιάσει τις δυνατότητές της ανάλυσης διαδικασιών με την χρήση τεχνικών του τομέα της εξόρυξης διαδικασιών(Process Mining). Η ανάλυση θα περιέχει τρία σκέλη, την εξόρυξη διαδικασιών παρουσιάζοντας τις σημαντικές πτυχές της επιστήμης, την εφαρμογή της εξόρυξης διαδικασιών με την χρήση της βιβλιοθήκης pm4py της γλωσσάς προγραμματισμού Python και την ανάλυση και αξιολόγηση μιας διαδικασίας αίτησης για επιδότηση από δημόσιο φορέα. Συγκεκριμένα, θα αναλυθεί το θεωρητικό υπόβαθρο του τομέα της Εξόρυξης Διαδικασιών, παρουσιάζοντας τη δομή των αρχείων καταγραφής γεγονότων, τους πιο σημαντικούς αλγόριθμους εξόρυξης διαδικασιών, τις βασικές τεχνικές ανάλυσης, τις διάφορες σημειογραφίες και τα εργαλεία λογισμικού τα οποία πλαισιώνουν ένα έργο εξόρυξης διαδικασιών. Η εργασία τεκμηριώνει την ανάγκη που υπάρχει σήμερα για σαφείς και ευέλικτες διαδικασίες και το πόσο σημαντικό και απαραίτητο είναι για τους ενδιαφερόμενους οργανισμούς να επενδύσουν σε τέτοιου είδους τεχνογνωσία και εργαλεία.Σε τεχνικό επίπεδο με την χρήση των βιβλιοθηκών της Python, κυρίως της pm4py, έχει δημιουργηθεί πηγαίος κώδικάς ο οποίος πραγματοποιεί εξόρυξη και ανάλυση διαδικασιών σε παραγωγικά δεδομένα. Τα δεδομένα στα οποία επικεντρώνεται η εργασία αφορούν την κατανόηση και την ανάλυση της διαδικασίας που διεκπεραιώνει το πρόγραμμα άμεσων πληρωμών του Ευρωπαϊκού Ταμείου Εγγυήσεων και το ποσό που έχει δεσμευθεί για την αγροτική ανάπτυξη. Οι άμεσες πληρωμές αποτελούν ένα κύριο στοιχείο της κοινής γεωργικής πολι- τικής (CAP) της ΕΕ, παρέχοντας οικονομική στήριξη στους αγρότες και προωθώντας την ανταγωνιστικότητα, τη βιωσιμότητα και τις πρακτικές αγροτικής καλλιέργειας που σέβονται το περιβάλλον. Τα δεδομένα προέρχονται από πληθώρα πληροφοριακών συστημάτων σε μορφή event logs και αναλύονται χρησιμοποιώντας διάφορα εργαλεία εξόρυξης και ανάλυσης προκειμένου να εξαχθούν και να αξιολογηθούν τα μοντέλα διαδικασίας που προκύπτουν. Σκοπός είναι, όσο είναι δυνατό, να εντοπιστούν αδύναμα σημεία και να βελτιωθούν οι διαδικασίες.el

dc.description.abstracttranslatedThe aim of the thesis is to present the capabilities of process analysis when applying techniques from the field of Process Mining. The analysis will consist of three parts: process mining, presenting the important aspects of the science; the application of process mining using the pm4py library of the Python programming language; and the analysis and evaluation of a grant application process from a public entity. Specifically, the theoretical background of Process Mining will be examined, including the structure of event log files, the most significant process mining algorithms, basic analysis techniques, various notations, and software tools that encompass a process mining project. The paper highlights the need for clear and flexible processes today and emphasizes how important and necessary it is for organizations to invest in such knowledge and tools. At a technical level, using Python libraries, mainly pm4py, source code has been created that performs process mining and analysis on real data. The focus of the study is on understanding and analyzing the process carried out by the European Guarantee Fund’s direct payment program and the amount allocated for rural development. Direct payments are a key element of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), providing financial support to farmers and promoting competitiveness, sustainability, and environmentally friendly agricultural practices. The data used in this study comes from a variety of information systems in the form of event logs, and it is analyzed using various mining and analysis tools to extract and evaluate the resulting process models. The goal is to identify weaknesses and improve the effectiveness of processes.el
