dc.description.abstract	Σήμερα, παρά τον εκσυγχρονισμό και την εξέλιξη των επιστημών ,το περιβάλλον γύρω μας δεν τυγχάνει της προσοχής που του αξίζει.Οι κάτοικοι μια πόλης έχουν άμεση πρόσβαση στο φυσικό τους περιβάλλον μέσω του αστικού πρασίνου. Το αστικό πράσινο προσφέρει οφέλη στον πολίτη, τα οποία δεν μπορεί να τα προσφέρει το κτισμένο περιβάλλον. Ο σχεδιασμός των αστικών πράσινων υποδομών έχει λάβει πρέπουσα σημασία τα τελευταία χρόνια στο πλαίσιο του περιβαλλοντικού αστικού/αστικού σχεδιασμού και της αρχιτεκτονικής τοπίου. Οι πράσινοι πνεύμονες μια περιοχής συμβάλλουν σημαντικά στην αειφόρο ανάπτυξη μιας περιοχής . Σε όσες κοινότητες παρατηρείται αυξημένο πράσινο ποσοστό κάλυψης ,βελτιώνει τόσο την όψη της,όσο και τις συνθήκες επιβίωσης των πολιτών της. Στόχος της διπλωματικής εργασίας μου αποτελεί η ανάδειξη της σημασίας και της συνεισφοράς των pocket parks στη βελτίωση του αστικού μικροκλίματος. Αρχικά γίνεται μία ανάγνωση των σύγχρονων προβλημάτων της Αθήνας ,εστιάζοντας στα αστικά κενά. Στην συνέχεια αναλύονται βασικοί ορισμοί της βιώσιμης ανάπτυξής και αναλύονται οι εναλλακτικές πράσινες μορφές,ώστε να καταλήξουμε στα pocket parks και να γίνει η εκτενέστερη αναφορά σε αυτά και στη συμβολή τους. Στο τέλος αναπτύσσεται πρωτογενής έρευνα στο δήμο Αιγάλεω.	el

dc.description.abstracttranslated	Nowadays, while we are witnessing modernization and progress in technology and science, we are not being given proper attention to the environment that surrounds us. Urban greenery is the means by which a city citizen comes into contact with the natural environment. It is the place where residents benefit from benefits that the built environment cannot provide them. The lack of green infrastructure not only threatens the urban climate and ecosystems but can also affect a city's image as well as the living conditions of its inhabitants. In recent years, the design of urban green infrastructure has become an area of particular interest in the context of environmental urban/urban planning and landscape design. The sustainability and quality of the urban environment are investigated to include parameters relating to urban green areas, with indicators reflecting the perception of residents and visitors about their living environment. In addition to the many environmental, ecological and psychological benefits, urban green areas can play a very important role in the sustainable development of the community. Areas characterized by an increase in the coverage rate of ecosystems can help people adapt to a healthy lifestyle. The present diplomacy focuses on the benefits of urban green infrastructure based on sustainability aspects, including environmental, social, economic and cultural dimensions. Its aim is to highlight the importance and contribution of pocket parks to the improvement of the urban microclimate. The first step is to analyze the definitions of urban open spaces and green spaces. Then follows their categorization and the description of the category of "pocket parks". Their character and usefulness to improve the image of the neighborhood and by extension the city as well as their overall social, environmental and economic contribution are analyzed. In the end, primary research will follow in the municipality of Aigaleo.	el
