dc.description.abstract	Στη εργασία με τίτλο ”Around The Villages” εξετάζεται η ιστορία και η εξέλιξη της οικονομικής και της πολιτικής κατάστασης μιας περιοχής, όπου συνυπάρχουν Χριστιανοί και Μουσουλμάνοι. Συγκεκριμένα, εξετάζονται μέσω της φωτογραφικής αναπαράστασης του βιομηχανικού και φυσικού τοπίου οι περιοχές του Πολύανθου, του Ιάσμου και του ποταμού Κομψάτου του Νομού Ροδόπης καθώς και αυτές που βρίσκονται ανάμεσα τους. Εκεί, οι κύριες ασχολίες του πληθυσμού είναι οι καλλιέργειες και η κτηνοτροφία. Δίνεται δε έμφαση στην ανθρώπινη παρέμβαση στην φύση καθώς και σε άλλους ανθρωπογενείς παράγοντες που δεν είναι πάντα καταστροφικοί αλλά τις περισσότερες φορές βελτιωτικοί.	el

dc.description.abstracttranslated	The thesis entitled "Around The Villages" examines the history and evolution of the economic and political situation of the area, where Christians and Muslims coexist. Especially, the areas of Polyanthos, Iasmos and the river Kompsatos of the Prefecture of Rodopi are examined as well as those that are located between them through the photographic representation of the industrial and natural landscape. There, the main occupations of the population are crops and livestock. Emphasis is placed on human intervention in nature and the various anthropogenic factors in nature that are not always destructive but often agricultural.	el
