dc.description.abstract	Το θέμα της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας αναφέρει τη μετασκευή ενός Ε/Γ-Ο/Γ ανοικτού τύπου πλοίο. Η μετασκευή που θα αναλυθεί αναφέρεται στην αύξηση της μεταφορικής ικανότητας των οχημάτων ύστερα από απαίτηση του πλοιοκτήτη.Στόχος της εργασίας αρχικά, θα είναι ο έλεγχος των σχεδίων και των μελετών του υπάρχοντος πλοίου και στην συνέχεια η δημιουργία σχεδίων και μελετών του νέου πλοίου μετά την μετασκευή. Θα πρέπει να καλυφθούν όλες οι απαιτήσεις των κανονισμών για την σωστή πραγματοποίηση της μετασκευής και η δημιουργία των νέων σχεδίων και μελετών.	el

dc.description.abstracttranslated	The subject of the present thesis is the reconstruction of an open type Ro/Ro-passenger ship. In more detail, the main objectives of subject thesis are the review of all existing relevant plans and studies of the current ship and the creation of the necessary new plans and corresponding studies, essential for the specific reconstruction. The goal of the reconstruction is the increase of the vessel’s vehicle-carrying capacity, according to the ship-owner’s request. Furthermore, the resulting reconstructed ship will also be examined for compliance with the current legislation. Lastly, the final part will be to satisfy all the requirements of a feasible and appropriate reconstruction, apart from the creation of new plans and new studies.	el
