| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία διερευνά τις στάσεις, τις γνώσεις και τις αντιλήψεις
των μαιών/μαιευτών της Κρήτης, σχετικά με την τεχνητή διακοπή της κύησης.
Ειδικότερα, οι άξονες διερεύνησης είναι η συσχέτιση των στάσεων αυτών με τα
χρόνια προϋπηρεσίας, ο βαθμός της ενσυναίσθησης των επαγγελματιών υγείας στα
ζητήματα σχετικά με την διαχείριση περιστατικών τεχνητής διακοπής της κύησης, ο
βαθμός της γνωστικής επάρκειας και κατάρτισης των μαιών/τών ως προς τον οικογενειακό
προγραμματισμό, καθώς και η ανάγκη συνεχιζόμενης εκπαίδευσης με βάση τα τρέχοντα
επιστημονικά δεδομένα στο συγκεκριμένο θέμα.
Για τους σκοπούς της παρούσας έρευνας έχει επιλεχθεί η δειγματοληψία χωρίς
πιθανότητα (non probability sampling). Tα υποκείμενα της έρευνας είναι επαγγελματίες
μαίες/μαιευτές, οι οποίες/οποίοι διαμένουν στην Κρήτη, μιλούν και κατανοούν την
Ελληνική γλώσσα, είναι ενήλικες και έχουν εξασκήσει τη Μαιευτική σε κάποια δομή
εντός της Κρήτης, ανεξαρτήτως χρονικού πλαισίου.
Στα βασικά συμπεράσματα της έρευνας, καταγράφηκε μεγάλη ανομοιογένεια των
γνώσεων των μαιών/των στις νομικές πτυχές που καλύπτουν την τεχνητή διακοπή κύησης,
αρνητική στάση και απροθυμία να συμμετέχουν , σε σημαντικό ποσοστό, στάση στην
οποία φαίνεται να διευκολύνεται από τα εργασιακά τους περιβάλλοντα, έλλειψη
διασύνδεσης κέντρων Οικογενειακού Προγραμματίσουμε τις υπόλοιπες μαιευτικές
κλινικές/μονάδες και μεγάλο περιθώριο ανάπτυξης ενσυναίσθησης των μαιών/των της
Κρήτης. | el |

| dc.description.abstracttranslated | This thesis investigates the attitudes, knowledge and perceptions of midwives in Crete
regarding the artificial termination of pregnancy.
In particular, the axes of investigation are the correlation of these attitudes with the years
of previous service, the degree of empathy of health professionals in the issues related to
the artificial termination of pregnancy, the degree of known work and the training of
midwives in terms of family planning, as well as the need for continuing education based
on current scientific data on the specific subject.
For the purposes of this research, non probability sampling has been chosen. The subjects
of the research are professional midwives, who live in Crete, speak and understand the
Greek language, are adults and have practiced Midwifery in some structure within Crete,
regardless of time frame. In the main conclusions of the research, a large inhomogeneity of
the knowledge of midwives in the legal aspects covering artificial termination was
recorded, a negative attitude and reluctance to participate, in a significant percentage, an
attitude that seems to be facilitated by their working environments, a lack of
interconnection . of Family Planning centers with the rest of the obstetric clinics/units and
a great scope for developing empathy among the midwives of Crete. | el |
