‘‘Μέσα της’’ Η σκοτεινή πλευρά της παιδικής ηλικίας

dc.description.abstract	Επιστρατεύοντας, εκτός των προσωπικών βιωμάτων, το έργο των Louise Bourgeois, Tracey Moffat, Gregory Crewdson και την ενασχόλησή τους με την παιδική ηλικία, η παρούσα εργασία φιλοδοξεί να φωτίσει τη σκοτεινή πλευρά της τελευταίας. Η παιδικότητα, που στο συλλογικό ασυνείδητο είναι συνώνυμο της χαράς και της ξεγνοιασιάς, αναδύεται από το αχανές σκοτάδι της μήτρας - αφετηρίας της ζωής και του εαυτού. Στη σειρά «Μέσα της» προτείνεται η αποδόμηση του αφηγήματος της παιδικής ανεμελιάς με εικόνες που έχουν ως πρώτη ύλη το σκοτάδι. Έτσι το αποτέλεσμα μοιάζει με μια μελετημένη αναστροφή. Σαν να φαίνεται η πίσω πλευρά μιας ευτυχισμένης οικογενειακής φωτογραφίας. Η μνήμη, μέσω της φωτογραφικής διαδικασίας, λειτουργεί επιλεκτικά. Κρατάει τα γέλια και την χαρούμενη στιγμή αποτυπώνοντας κυρίως τη φωτεινή πλευρά της αλήθειας. Το σκοτάδι που κρύβεται πίσω από αυτήν την αλήθεια μοιάζει αόρατο. Δεν είναι όμως. Σ’ αυτό ακριβώς το σκοτάδι θα χυθεί φως. Τα παιδικά αντικείμενα που απεικονίζονται (το παιχνίδι, το μπαλόνι, τα μπισκότα, ένα ποτήρι γάλα) δίνουν στο έργο συνολικά μια δυναμική συμβολισμού, δημιουργώντας έτσι συνειρμούς αθωότητας και ανοιχτωσιάς που έρχονται σε ευθεία αντίθεση με τον σκοτεινό αφιλόξενο, παρότι οικείο, τόπο. Το περιβάλλον του έργου, προτείνω, προσομοιάζει με φαντασιακό χώρο μιας ενστικτώδους δημιουργίας πρωτόγνωρων βιωμάτων, όμοιων με αυτά που συναντάμε τόσο στην αρχή της ύπαρξης, όσο και κατά τη διαδικασία της καλλιτεχνικής δημιουργίας.	el

dc.description.abstracttranslated	Drawing on the work of Louise Bourgeois, Tracey Moffat, Gregory Crewdson and their work on childhood, and from personal experience, this paper aims to shed light on the darker side of the former. Childhood, which in the collective unconscious is synonymous with joy and light-heartedness, emerges from the vast darkness of the womb - the starting point of life and self. The series "Inside her" proposes to deconstruct the narrative of childlike light-heartedness with images that have darkness as their raw material. Thus the result resembles a studied inversion, as if the back side of a happy family photograph is shown. Memory, through the photographic process, works selectively. It keeps the laughs and the happy moments capturing mostly the bright side of the truth. The darkness behind this truth seems invisible. But it is not. It is into this very darkness that light will be shed. The children's objects depicted (the toy, the balloon, the biscuits, a glass of milk) give to the work a dynamic of symbolism, thus creating associations of innocence and openness that are in direct contrast to the dark inhospitable, albeit familiar, place. The environment of the work resembles an imaginary space of an instinctive creation of novel experiences, similar to those we encounter both at the beginning of existence and during the process of artistic creation.	el
