| dc.description.abstract | Τα εργαλεία διοίκησης των νοσοκομειακών δομών και ο τρόπος οργάνωσης και λειτουργίας τους, είναι βέλτιστης σημασίας για την παροχή ποιοτικών υπηρεσιών υγείας εστιαζόμενες στις εξατομικευμένες ανάγκες των ασθενών και επηρεάζουν σημαντικά την αποδοτικότητα του Οργανισμού. Σκοπός της μελέτης: Σκοπός της παρούσας βιβλιογραφικής ανασκόπησης είναι η διερεύνηση των σύγχρονων τάσεων και εξελίξεων στη διοίκηση/management των νοσοκομείων και να καταδειχθεί η επιστημονική γνώση που έχει αναπτυχθεί σχετικά με το management των νοσοκομείων και την εφαρμογή του στα Ελληνικά δημόσια νοσοκομεία. Υλικό και μέθοδος: Στην παρούσα εργασία ακολουθήθηκε η διαδικασία της περιγραφικής ανασκόπησης. Η αναζήτηση των ερευνών πραγματοποιήθηκε κυρίως στις βάσεις δεδομένων Google Scholar, PubMed, και Scopus. Προσδιορίστηκαν οι λέξεις κλειδιά στην ελληνική και αγγλική γλώσσα ώστε να ανευρεθούν οι σχετικές έρευνες και ορίστηκαν κριτήρια αποκλεισμού. Οι λέξεις που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ήταν διοίκηση νοσοκομείων, Complexity Science, Balanced Scorecard ,Benchmarking, Risk management, management ελληνικών νοσοκομείων. Αποτελέσματα: Επιλέχθηκαν και παρουσιάστηκαν τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά και η συνεισφορά στη διαχείριση των νοσοκομείων τεσσάρων μοντέλων-τάσεων διοίκησης του Complexity Science, του Balanced Score card ,του Benchmarking και του Riskmanagement. Καταγράφηκαν τα θετικά και αρνητικά σημεία τους και ακολούθησε η συγκριτική τους αξιολόγηση. Προέκυψε ότι ο συνδυασμός δύο μοντέλων ή η ενσωμάτωση στοιχείων και πρακτικών από περισσότερα μοντέλα μπορούν να συμβάλλουν θετικά, επιλύοντας ανακύπτοντα προβλήματα που σχετίζονται με τη διαχείριση των νοσοκομειακών δομών και προβλέποντας την εμφάνιση μελλοντικών που σχετίζονται με την αποτελεσματικότητα των νοσοκομείων. Η πλειοψηφία των ελληνικών νοσοκομείων τα τελευταία δέκα πέντε χρόνια εκ του νόμου εφαρμόζουν συστήματα εστιασμένα στην επίτευξη στρατηγικών στόχων και μέτρησης της απόδοσης και της αποτελεσματικότητας, χωρίς όμως τη χρήση νέων μεθόδων και πρακτικών και με διοικήσεις που ορίζονται από την κεντρική κυβέρνηση και κάποιες φορές μη έχοντας τις κατάλληλες ικανότητες και δεξιότητες. Συμπεράσματα: Τα παρόντα αποτελέσματα καταδεικνύουν την άμεση ανάγκη εφαρμογής ii νέων τάσεων και εργαλείων στη διοίκηση των ελληνικών νοσοκομείων και τονίζουν τη σημασία επιμόρφωσης του προσωπικού στις νέες πρακτικές για την αύξηση της αποτελεσματικότητας των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών υγείας, τον έλεγχο του κόστους και την ετοιμότητα τους σε περιόδους υγειονομικών κρίσεων. | el |

| dc.description.abstracttranslated | iii Abstract The way and tools for managing hospital structures and the way they are organized and operated are of optimal importance for the provision of quality health services focusing on the individual needs of patients and significantly affect the Organization's efficiency. Purpose of the study The purpose of this bibliographic review is to investigate the current trends and developments in the administration/management of hospitals and to demonstrate the scientific knowledge that has been developed regarding the management of hospitals and their application in Greek hospitals. Material and method In this work, the procedure of the descriptive review was followed. The search for researches was performed mainly in the Google Scholar, PubMed, and Scopus databases. Key words in Greek and English were identified in order to find relevant research and exclusion criteria were defined. The words used were hospital administration, ComplexityScience, BalancedScorecard, Benchmarking, Riskmanagement, management of Greekhospitals. Results The main characteristics and the contribution to hospital management of four management models-trends of Complexity Science, Balanced Score card, Benchmarking and Riskmanagement were selected and presented. Their positive and negative points were recorded and their comparative evaluation followed. It emerged that the combination of two models or the integration of evidence and practices from more models can contribute positively, solving emerging problems related to the management of hospital structures and predicting the emergence of future ones related to hospital efficiency.The majority of Greek hospitals in the last fifteen years by law implement systems focused on achieving strategic goals and measuring performance and effectiveness, but without the use of new methods and practices and with administrations defined by the central government and sometimes without having the appropriate abilities and skills. Conclusions The present results demonstrate the immediate need to implement new trends and tools in the administration of Greek hospitals and emphasize the importance of staff training in new iv practices to increase the efficiency of the health services provided, control costs and their readiness in times of health emergencies crises.
