dc.description.abstract	ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ Εισαγωγή: Τα νέα δεδομένα στο ταχέως αναπτυσσόμενο πεδίο της ιατρικής επιστήμης, της βιολογίας, της ιατροτεχνολογίας και της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης γύρω από τα ιατρικά επαγγέλματα αποτελεί μια πρόκληση με την ανάγκη ελέγχου του κόστους των υπηρεσιών υγείας σε σχέση με την επάρκεια βελτίωσης της κατάστασης της υγείας των ασθενών. Σκοπός: Σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής είναι να προσδιοριστεί εννοιολογικά το μοντέλο του Value-Based Healthcare, να διερευνηθεί η δυνατότητα εφαρμογής και οι προοπτικές που ανοίγονται για την βελτίωση των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών προς τους ασθενείς-καταναλωτές και μελετάται επίσης πώς μπορεί να συντελέσει στον εξορθολογισμό του κόστους ιατρικών δαπανών καθώς και η επίδραση που έχει στα συστήματα υγείας σε χώρες όπου έχει ξεκινήσει να εφαρμόζεται. Συγκεκριμένα έγινε μελέτη του μοντέλου Value based healthcare στις χώρες Νορβηγία, Μεγάλη Βρετανία, Μασαχουσέτη Αμερικής και Ολλανδία. Μεθοδολογία: Για την εκπόνηση της διπλωματικής μεταπτυχιακής εργασίας πραγματοποιήθηκε συστηματική βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση. Τα κριτήρια συμπερίληψης των ερευνών στην εργασία αυτή είναι: α) μελέτες δημοσιευμένες τα τελευταία 5 έτη, β) μελέτες στην αγγλική γλώσσα. Οι μελέτες αντλήθηκαν από τις εξής βάσεις δεδομένων National Library of Medicine PubMed, Harvard site, Cureus: Journal of Medical Science, The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), google scholar. Λέξεις-Κλειδιά: Value-Based Healthcare, quality, efficacy for patients, healthcare costs. Αποτελέσματα:. Από την βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση εννέα άρθρα στην αγγλική γλώσσα πληρούσαν τα κριτήρια ένταξης στην μελέτη. Οι πυλώνες πάνω στους οποίους στηρίζεται η θεωρία είναι η ασθενοκεντρική θεώρηση της υγείας, οι ενοποιημένες πληρωμές, η ψηφιοποίηση των συστημάτων και η ενοποιημένη και αποκεντρωμένη φροντίδα υγείας. Συζήτηση: Αν λάβουμε υπόψη τις αυξανόμενες δαπάνες στον τομέα της υγείας κατανοούμε την στροφή του συστήματος VBHC αφενός σε καινούρια μοντέλα παροχής φροντίδας όπου ο ασθενής και οι ανάγκες του τοποθετούνται στο κέντρο του ενδιαφέροντος και αφετέρου σε μοντέλα πληρωμής για τις παροχές όχι βάσει όγκου αλλά βάσει αξίας ξεφεύγοντας από τα παραδοσιακά μέχρι τώρα συστήματα αμοιβής.	el

dc.description.abstracttranslated	Abstract Introduction: The new data in the rapidly developing field of medical science, biology, medical technology and artificial intelligence around the medical professions is a challenge with the need to control the cost of health services in relation to the adequacy of improving the health status of the patients. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to conceptually define the Value-Based Healthcare model, to explore the possibility of application and the perspectives that are opened for the improvement of the services provided to the patients-consumers as well as the medical and nursing staff, how can contribute to the rationalization of the cost of medical expenses as well as the impact on health systems in countries where it has begun to be implemented. Specifically, a study was made of the Value based healthcare model in the countries of Norway, Great Britain, and the USA. and Holland. Methodology: A systematic bibliographic review was conducted for the preparation of the diploma thesis. The criteria for including the research in this work are: a) studies published in the last 5 years, b) studies in the English language. The studies were drawn from the following databases National Library of Medicine PubMed, Harvard site, Cureus: Journal of Medical Science, The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), google scholar. Keywords: Value-Based Healthcare, quality, efficacy for patients, healthcare costs. Results: From the literature review, nine articles in the English language met the inclusion criteria for the study. The pillars on which the theory is based are the patient-centered view of health, unified payments, digitization of systems and unified and decentralized healthcare. Discussion: If we take into account the increasing costs in the health sector, we understand the shift of the VBHC system on the one hand to new models of care delivery where the patient and his needs are placed at the center of interest and on the other hand to payment models for benefits not based on volume but on the basis of value breaking away from traditional pay systems so far.	el
