dc.description.abstractΗ παρούσα εργασία εξετάζει το ρόλο της ΕΕ στη χάραξη, την εφαρμογή και την αξιολόγηση των κοινωνικών πολιτικών. Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι η διερεύνηση του τρόπου με τον οποίον η ΕΕ παρεμβαίνει στο πεδίο της κοινωνικής πολιτικής και το κατά πόσο οι δράσεις της Ένωσης επί των κοινωνικών ζητημάτων δύνανται να επιδράσουν αποτελεσματικά στις επιμέρους εθνικές πολιτικές. Στο πλαίσιο αυτού του σκοπού θα αναλυθούν: η εξέλιξη του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινωνικού Μοντέλου, η εισαγωγή και η λειτουργία της Ανοιχτής Μεθόδου Συντονισμού, η υιοθέτηση του Χάρτη Θεμελιωδών Δικαιωμάτων της ΕΕ, η δομή του Ευρωπαϊκού Πυλώνα Κοινωνικών Δικαιωμάτων, οι στόχοι κοινωνικής πολιτικής που εμπεριέχονται στη στρατηγική « Ευρώπη 2020», καθώς και οι αρμοδιότητες των αρμόδιων ενωσιακών Επιτροπών. Επιπλέον θα εξεταστούν οι δράσεις της ΕΕ στους τομείς της υγείας, της απασχόλησης και της καταπολέμησης της φτώχειας και του κοινωνικού αποκλεισμού, με έμφαση στην προσπάθεια συντονισμού των πολιτικών δημόσιας υγείας των κρατών μελών.el

dc.description.abstracttranslatedThis paper examines the role of the EU in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of social policies. The purpose of this paper is to explore how the EU intervenes in the field of social policy and whether the Union's actions on social issus can have an effective impact on individual national policies. In this context, the following will be analyzed: the evolution of the European Social Model, the operation of the Open Method of Coordination, the adoption of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, the structure of the European Pillar of Social Rights, the social policy objectives contained in the strategy ''Europe 2020'', as well as the responsibilities of the relevant EU Committees. In addition, there will be examined the EU actions in the fields of health, employment and the combat against poverty and social exclusion, with an emphasis on the coordination of Member States' public health policies.el
