| dc.description.abstract | Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι μέσα από την αναλυτική περιγραφή των κρεβατιών της Μονάδας Εντατικής Θεραπείας, να κατανοηθεί η μετεξέλιξη τους από ένα απλό, χρηστικό έπιπλο σε ένα ιατροτεχνολογικό προϊόν, αναπόσπαστο πια, κομμάτι της θεραπευτικής διαδικασίας για τον ασθενή. Μια μικρή ιστορική αναδρομή οδηγεί στα υπερσύγχρονα -state of art- μηχανήματα του σήμερα που περιλαμβάνουν πλαίσιο κρεβατιού συνδυασμένο το στρώμα, με πληθώρα κινήσεων, θέσεων, λειτουργιών, προγραμμάτων και συνδεσιμότητα μέσω διαδικτύου για απομακρυσμένη ενημέρωση και διάδραση. Η όλη αναφερόμενη εξέλιξή υποστηρίζεται από την αντίστοιχη της τεχνολογίας σε όλους τους τομείς της, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση σε εκείνο της ανάπτυξης χρήσης αισθητήρων και καθορίζεται από κατευθυντήριους άξονες. Οι άξονες αυτοί περιλαμβάνουν την άνεση και την ασφάλεια των ασθενών χρηστών των κρεβατιών, την αντίστοιχη άνεση και ασφάλεια του συνόλου του προσωπικού των φροντιστών – νοσηλευτικό & παραϊατρικό προσωπικό - μαζί με τους ιατρούς και την τόσο απαιτούμενα σημαντική ανάγκη κίνησης, μη ικανών γι’ αυτήν, ασθενών. | el |

| dc.description.abstracttranslated | Summary The purpose of this work is, through the analytical description of the beds used in the most critical section of a hospital, the Intensive Care Unit, to understand their evolution from a simple, functional piece of furniture to an indispensable part of the patient's therapeutic process in the field of medical technology. A brief historical overview is presented, leading us to today's state-of-the-art machines that include a bed frame in combination with the mattress, offering a plethora of movements, positions, functions, smart programs, and internet connectivity for remote monitoring and interaction. The entire mentioned evolution is supported by corresponding technology in all its aspects, with a particular emphasis on the development of sensor usage, and it is guided by key principles. These principles include the comfort and safety of the patient users of the beds, the corresponding comfort and safety of the entire caregiving staff, including doctors, and the crucial need for mobility of patients unable to move on their own. | el |
